Get to know us better!

Tape Type was established in March 2008.  Its Founder, Cash Ryan, has chronic health conditions and is registered disabled.  Despite the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) and its significant extension (2005), she experienced difficulties of working with employers who have limited understanding, and in some cases ignorance.  This only inspired her to establish this business and to employ staff who also either have chronic health conditions or are registered disabled.

Cash has over twenty years prior experience working as an administrator mostly at senior levels within medical and clinical audit, housing initiatives and local government.  She has qualifications in computing, bookkeeping and accounts, counselling skills, supporting students with disabilities in higher education and British sign language.  Her education and working background is relevant and beneficial to undertaking this type of work and also to effectively managing and supporting her staff.

We ask that when you are looking for a company that provides the services we do, you consider Tape Type as one of your options to show your support of helping disabled persons and those with life-threatening conditions to live an independent and fuller life and to be part of the working community!  If you or your company would like to make a donation towards a charity supporting serious illnesses then please click here.
